In the article "Footprints in the Digital Age" by Will Richardson it discusses how digital footprints affect students. Blogging, for example, is good for your digital footprint because it shows what kind of work you can do. This matters to me because I blog a lot for English and it shows what I have learned and how it affects the world around me. Social networks can have a negative affect on your digital footprint because saying things about someone or your job will come back to haunt you. This article really shows how much people rely on technology. For communication, research or anything really people always go to the internet.

  1. Social networks aren't completely negative, they can be very positive too. You can also learn a lot from other people. The negative effects only result from negative comments, which should be kept to oneself. What are the positive outcomes of a social network?
