In the article "Focus donates $115,266 to Fight Against Gay Marriage in Maine" by the Denver Post's associated press it talks about how the Focus On the Family conservative christian group donated $115,266 to Maine so that Gay men cannot get married. I think that this is way too much of a donation to something going on in another state. People in Maine should be the ones deciding whether they want gay marriage legal or not. Why is a Christian group located in Colorado Springs Colorado so worried about that. They don't even live in Maine. That is a lot of money that could of gone to something more important and in Colorado.

  1. Picking a completely unbiased approach, that group mostly likely cares about everything that goes on in their country. If a certain race was being persecuted in another state, wouldn't you wish to do something about it? That group probably truly believes that gay marriage is incorrect, and they are standing by their belief. Interesting post, but try to look deeper and understand motives behind the actions.
